Terms & Conditions

The rules for using CanYouFixMyZA, whether you are asking for help or paying for leads.

1. Who you are contracting with

These terms are an agreement between you and canyoufixmyza, trading as CanYouFixMyZA ("we", "us", "our"), a South African business. Questions: support@canyoufixmyza.co.za.

CanYouFixMyZA is a provider-discovery and lead-routing platform. Customers submit requests free of charge. Service providers pay a monthly subscription to receive leads. We are not a party to the work agreed between a customer and a provider, we do not perform the work, and we do not give medical, legal, financial or insurance advice.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the platform.

You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, and if you register on behalf of a business that you are authorised to bind that business. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date, and you are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping your password confidential.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the platform. In particular you may not use it for anything unlawful; commit fraud, post fake requests or fake reviews, or send spam; infringe anyone's intellectual property; upload malware or malicious files; probe, scan or interfere with the security of the platform; or scrape, harvest or bulk-extract customer information, provider listings or any other data.

Customer contact details released to a provider may be used only to quote on and carry out that specific job. They may not be stored for later marketing, resold or shared.

4. Our intellectual property

We own the platform, its software, design, branding, documentation and content, and nothing in these terms transfers that ownership to you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for its intended purpose while your account is in good standing. You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or circumvent the technical limits of the platform.

You keep ownership of the content you upload and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service.

5. Service availability

We work hard to keep the platform running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and we do not guarantee any particular number of leads, quotes or jobs. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Subscriptions, payment and billing

Registered businesses pay R450 per month and individual service providers pay R199 per month, each after a free first month. No card is required during the free month. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled and you may cancel at any time, keeping access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Subscription fees are billed monthly in South African Rand and are processed by PayFast. Our refund policy is set out on our Refund Policy page.

We never see or store your full card number or CVV. Card details are handled by the payment provider's secure hosted checkout.

7. Merchant of Record

canyoufixmyza is the seller of all subscriptions on this platform. Card payments are collected on our behalf by PayFast, our payment processor. All customer service and billing enquiries are handled by canyoufixmyza at support@canyoufixmyza.co.za.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the platform where there is a material breach of these terms, non-payment of a subscription, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations — including misuse of customer information. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

On termination your access ends. You may request a copy of your information, and we retain or delete data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Liability

We are not liable for the quality, safety, legality or outcome of work arranged between a customer and a provider. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 6 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where it may not lawfully be excluded.

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the platform, or your breach of these terms.

10. General

These terms are governed by South African law and the South African courts have jurisdiction. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or restructure. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
